Mobile Access

All Discus resources can be accessed on mobile devices. The database providers currently offering access via free apps are listed below. For help with the Discus statewide username and password please contact the Discus Office.

1. Do any of the Discus databases have a mobile app?

Yes, BrainPOP Jr., EBSCO, and TumbleBooks have mobile apps on Android and Apple. For Android phone users, please visit the Google Play Store to download these apps. For Apple phone users, please visit the App Store to download these apps.

When logging in enter the Discus statewide username and password.

Click the "School" option when logging in and enter the Discus username and password. 

2. Will I be able to pull up Discus databases on my phone?

Yes, all of our Discus databases work or are compatible with Android and Apple phones.

3. I’m using an Android/Apple mobile device, and the layout is difficult to use. How do I fix that?

Open Discus using the "Desktop site" mode to open the Desktop version on your mobile device. You can also set your mobile device to auto-rotate the screen.
